The air distribution system in varying configurations consists of the fans, coils, filters, and other apparatus necessary to "condition" the air and make it flow to occupied spaces with the least possible losses from leakage, resistance, and temperature change.  Once having arrived, it must be distributed in the most efficient, draftless, noiseless manner possible.
